Reducing zinc consumption during hot-dip galvanizing can be achieved in the following ways:

Control of workpiece hanging angle and spacing: Pay attention to the angle at which the workpieces are hung when hanging the workpieces so that the zinc can be channeled. At the same time, maintain proper workpiece spacing to prevent sticking of workpieces during galvanizing.

Control the temperature of the zinc solution: prevent the temperature of the zinc solution from being too low, as a low temperature will result in poor fluidity of the zinc solution. At the same time, avoid the localized high temperature of zinc liquid, because the high temperature will accelerate the reaction between iron and zinc and form zinc slag.

Use ceramic zinc kettles and rollers: Iron zinc kettles and press rollers tend to react with the zinc to form zinc dross, resulting in increased zinc consumption. Switching to ceramic zinc kettles and rollers can significantly reduce zinc consumption and extend service life.

Control the oxygen replenishment rate: To prevent the zinc liquid from reacting with the oxygen in the air to form zinc ash, the oxygen replenishment rate can be reduced by adjusting the blowing height and angle of the axial fan.

Choose suitable energy substance: Select suitable energy substance for the hot-dip galvanizing production line equipment, such as gas, blast furnace gas, electricity, liquefied petroleum gas, etc., in order to improve the energy efficiency level.

Improve heat insulation and heat preservation: Use materials such as refractory bricks, furnace walls made of chemical fiber, and composite furnace walls of heat preservation bricks and chemical fiber to reduce heat loss from the furnace walls.

Reduce the temperature of industrial exhaust gas: Choose measures such as radiant tubes with high utilization rate, heat storage burners, etc., to reduce the heat carried away by industrial exhaust gas and enhance the waste heat recovery and utilization
