Trees are cut and shredded, then ground into fine pieces, which are soaked and pulled apart. Pulp is produced from wood fibers or recycled materials.
The fine, rotten pieces of paper are produced by mixing them together in a mixing tank with large amounts of water and other chemicals.
While the wood pulp is still in the mixing tank, the manufacturer adds chemicals such as sodium sulfide, limestone and other chemicals to soften, strengthen or color the paper.

The prepared pulp is poured onto fast-moving belts made of highly porous material and driven by huge drums heated by steam. The pulp is poured uniformly and consistently across the width of the belt/drum. All the water flows out of the pores, leaving only the fibers on the belt, creating a delicate fabric.
The tissue is then transferred to a large heated roller called a yankee. The heat from the Yankee machine dries the fabric almost immediately. The tissue is then transferred to a core that forms a large diameter roll. Adjusting the traction speed of the roll allows you to get thicker or thinner tissues depending on your goals. These rolls are then placed on the converting machine.
The tissue paper is removed and its layers are split and passed through the embossing rolls. Embossing softens the tissue paper and can be used to create decorative patterns. The paper layers are torn off and held together with glue. The tissue paper is then perforated by a squeegee so that the sheets can be easily pulled apart.
The tissue paper can then be made flat or wound around a cardboard tube to form a cylindrical roll. Many different roll sizes and paper quantities can be produced on the winder. Large rolls are fed into a doctor blade system where they are cut into individual rolls by large rotating doctor blades.

Production lines in the tissue industry need to be flexible in order to produce a wide range of sizes and shapes and to maintain high product quality. Production equipment must have a high level of reliability to maintain the high production flow required by the tissue industry. Ideally, the production equipment operates without interruption, which places high demands on downstream machines, such as Paper Packing Machinery. Faults on the packaging machine should be resolved without affecting the speed of the production equipment. This requires a highly flexible and automatically controlled production process.
Many plants in the tissue industry produce several different products with different qualities and characteristics on the same line. These products are often very light, soft and sensitive and can be damaged if not handled properly. Therefore, production lines in the tissue industry need to be flexible in order to produce a wide range of sizes and shapes and maintain high product quality. One of the challenges in the tissue industry is handling the large amount of paper dust that comes from the product. There is always the possibility of dust being caught in the production equipment, which can negatively affect the equipment. Therefore, in order to extend the life of the equipment, it needs to be adapted to the dusty environment.
